Sony will launch a 3D TV in 2010

The Japanese company Sony launched in 2010 a new LCD TV (LCD) to be able to broadcast in 3D images, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Sony will launch its new product at the IFA electronics fair which is held every year in Berlin, said the U.S. newspaper.
The use of 3D technology for the home is a strong point for the future of the electronics industry and film production.
That is also why Sony's main competitors such as Samsung and Panasonic are preparing similar projects to bring 3D to the small screen. However, the business of 3D films only just taking off in theaters, so the video would offer initially smaller.

Sony has been fighting for years for maintaining the profitability of your electronic entertainment area and has already taken harsh cuts. The Japanese firm said it will sell its Mexican assembly plant for LCD TVs to Taiwan's Hon Hai.
