LG launching three new mobile phones with Windows

LG Electronics, the third largest mobile manufacturer in the world, said Thursday that in the coming weeks will introduce three new smart phones that work with Windows.

These are the first models of the company that include Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system from Microsoft, which according to LG should make it easier for users to surf the internet.
The South Korean company in February signed an agreement with Microsoft under which the Windows Mobile will become its main platform for smartphones, those with functions similar to those of a single computer.

Microsoft hopes its system continues Symbian Facing a technology backed by the largest mobile phone maker in the world, Nokia, and is used in two thirds of smartphones in the world.

LG is also part of the Symbian Foundation and is also developing models based on Google's Android software.
