Androids and star in human hipertecnologics Ars Electronics

A model walks wearing the skin of his arms and legs a geometric pattern reminiscent of body painting women of North African or kabuki theater, but the dye is a powerful conductor of electricity, so the woman becomes a kind switch, able to communicate directly with electronics.

This painting, along with some small electrodes to complete the circuit, allows light a bulb just by holding hands, transmit data from one person to a computer or create visual compositions.

The project, developed by a group of postgraduates at the Royal College of Art in London, is presented in Human Nature, the leading exhibition Ars Electronica Festival, which takes place from 3 to 8 September in the Austrian city of Linz.
Triple celebration

The exhibition promises to live up to the triple celebration: the 30th anniversary of the festival, the first edition in the new building (which makes available to the creativity of artists 40,000 LED facade) and the cultural capital of Linz.
The new permanent exhibition at the Ars Electronica Center (AEC) is wholly focused on analysis, show and explain how scientific discoveries change our way of seeing the world.

The exhibition of the winning of the Prix Ars Electronica, along with a selection of the best among the 3017 presented in the competition, will run through Oct. 10, but for the first time in years does not include Spanish work.
