Symptoms of Internet addiction, according to Hilarie Cash, executive director of the Restart Rehabilitation Center outside Seattle. Three of the following symptoms reflect puden abuse, five or more addiction:
You spend more time on the internet.
Unable to control this dependence.
Feeling of elation when you're on the internet.
Anxiety by spending more time on the internet; restlessness when not there.
Neglect of family and friends.
Lies to others about the time you spend on the network.
The Internet interferes with work or studies.
Feelings of guilt or shame by the amount of time spent on the network.
Changes in sleep habits.
Changes in weight, spine pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome.
Removal of other activities.
