Apple said Monday that it will hold a meeting to media next week, when he expects the company will launch an updated line of iPods.
Apple announced the appointment on September 9 through an email invitation to different media.
The invitation did not specify what type of products displayed at the meeting, but it shows an iPod accompanied by the slogan "It's only rock 'n' roll, but we like it.
In other years, the company has taken the same meeting in September to launch new iPod models for the holiday season.
The event will be held in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Center Theater.
