Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, a confessed lover of new technologies, opened its own video channel on YouTube, the video sharing network online.
"The new channel is a continuation of presidential videoblog. Youtube is a very popular and, with your help, we hope to increase our audience," said Natalia Timakova, Kremlin spokesman.
The goal is not just "the Internet Russians but also Russian speakers in other countries."
"In youtube hang not only original content, but also fragments of speeches the president," he added.
Medvedev inaugurated in October 2008 a "Videoblog" (http://blog.kremlin.ru) last April and his blog on Livejournal.com, the platform's most popular blogs "Runet" as we know the segment Russian network.
The head of the Kremlin has insisted in recent months the need to expand Internet use among officials to alleviate the red tape in the largest country in the world.
His predecessor, current Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, he never resorted to new technologies to spread their messages.
