The Mona Lisa comes alive with the help of high technology

For centuries, the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci and his enigmatic smile have inspired much speculation and admiration. Now she is ready to answer questions, but in Mandarin.
A digital and interactive version of the renowned sixteenth-century painting is one of the 61 high-tech mirrors that give life to classics and seniority in the "Exhibition of Art Interactive World Classic" which opened last week in Beijing.
These recreations of works by renowned classical masters and modern painters were made by a South Korean gallery. The organizer of the exhibition, Wang Hui, said it took two years of preparation and considerable investment to bring the jobs to China.
"What is special about this is that this is the first time that 3D technology, holographic technology, and voice recognition technology are merged in an exhibition," Wang told Reuters.
As in the case of the original painting in the Louvre museum in Paris, the Mona Lisa is the main attraction digital. She talks and greets visitors, who asked him his age and his life.
"Hi, I'm the Mona Lisa. Nice to meet you," she says in Mandarin.
"The Last Supper" is another da Vinci painting brought to life digitally, and in which Jesus speaks to the apostles and moves through the work, reproduced on a plasma screen.
The exhibit also includes a multimedia representation of real-size replicas of ancient statues of Greek and Roman gods, who talk about its virtues and beauty while adopting different poses.
"I studied fine arts at the university. The studies are still works, but here are alive and moving. It is surprising and vivid," said Zhao visitor Yuanzhi display.
While the exhibition attempts to reveal the art from a new perspective, also attempts to answer one of the world's most enduring questions: What is behind the smile of the Mona Lisa?
When asked, digital painting is scheduled to talk about how she became pregnant after the death of a child and about the pain and happiness in your life.
She also acknowledges that many people find her mysterious smile.
