Nokia will close its gaming platform N-Gage next year, acknowledging the defeat of his first major attempt to offer an application service for your appliances.

The online gaming service, launched last year, never managed to conquer a wider audience than the niche.
Nokia is collecting new ways to generate profits with online services, with the maturing of its traditional mobile market, and game and music industries were the primary focus of the manufacturer.
"We will launch new games for the N-Gage, Nokia announced on the blog service.
The company stated that its first games download service may be purchased through the end of September 2010, and the community site will remain open throughout the year.
After closing the service, Nokia will continue to sell mobile games through its online store Ovi Store, a smaller version of the App Store, Apple.
