German broadcaster Sky pay-TV Deutschland announced Thursday the start of the broadcast of part of its program with three-dimensional technology from next October.
"This is a future market and we want to be first," said a Sky spokesman Deutschland, who said the new channel will be called 3D TV "Eventkanal" and may be received via satellite and by cable to subscribers in the state of Baden-Württemberg.
He added that his company is currently negotiating with other firms cable vendors such as Kabel Deutschland to extend welcome to the whole country.Deuschland Sky subscribers will enjoy free initially 3D TV new channel for the remainder of the year, although in 2011 the 3D TV charged a supplementary fee for the reception of "Eventkanal."

Sky Deutschland acknowledged, however, that the number of subscribers to fully enjoy the new channel in three dimensions is very small, as it will be necessary to have a TV 3D technology.
However, they expressed confidence that sales of equipment to get this technology 3d tv to trip at Christmas, after presentation of the latest developments in the IFA trade fair these days is celebrated in Berlin.
