Five million people downloaded Skype for iPhone 3G in a few days

About five million customers have downloaded the Skype web application for iPhones that was released on Sunday.

Before launching the application on May 30 for networks of high-speed third generation (3G), Apple iPod customers could use Skype when they had Wi-Fi, wireless Internet network found in cafes, homes and centers commercial.
"We had millions of downloads to date," said Russ Shaw, general manager of Skype for mobile devices. "This is really positive," he added.
