Baidu aims to have 79% Internet search market in China

Baidu, China's largest Web search, plans to increase its market share in mobile devices and personal computers up to 79 percent in China thanks to the withdrawal of Google, an executive said Tuesday.
The general director of corporate development for Baidu, Hesong Tang made the remarks during a news conference.
The Chinese search engine attracted more than 64 percent of China's search market in the first quarter from 58.4 percent in the fourth quarter, according to research firm Analysys International.
