Cisco Systems intends to purchase Skype

Top U.S. Internet network on Cisco made a bid for the electronic communications firm Skype said on Monday the technology blog TechCrunch.TechCrunch, citing "one of our most reliable sources," said Cisco, based in San Jose, California, trying to buy Skype before the internet company calls this its proposed stock exchange listing.
"We have heard that Skype is seeking approximately $ 5,000 million," says TechCruch. "Cisco could be buy Skype and will probably have to provide something of that order to be interesting in skype," he added.

The auction giant eBay online sold late last year its stake in Skype for about 2,000 million dollars to a group of investors that included two founders of the company. The deal priced to Skype in 2750 million dollars.
Skype can escape the conventional telephone network to enable voice and video connections via the Internet. It allows Internet users to call for free and connect with other fixed or mobile lines at low prices.
